The Oushak Carnaval Series features modern Oushak rugs handmade from 100% natural Lyocell (TENCEL™). Carefully woven with a dense 168,000 knots and a weight of 3,300 g/m², this rug is made to last. What Is TENCEL™ (Lyocell)?
TENCEL™ is the registered brand name for lyocell fiber produced by the Austrian company Lenzing AG. It is made from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests using a closed-loop, environmentally friendly production process. Daily care for Oushak Carnaval TENCEL™ rugs is simple: vacuum gently using a low-suction setting, and dab any spills carefully with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. However, TENCEL™ is a natural cellulose fiber and is sensitive to water and excess moisture, so do not soak the rug or machine wash it. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaning service. This helps preserve the rug's silky sheen and colors for longer.

Delivery
Once your order is ready, it is handed over to Yurtiçi Kargo and delivered to your door within 1-3 business days after dispatch. Preparation time varies by product; the estimated delivery date for your region is shown on the product page. Every shipment is insured until delivery.
Shipping fee
Shipping is free on orders of 10,000 TL or more. For orders below this amount, the shipping fee is 999 TL.
International shipping
Worldwide shipping is handled by DHL Express and is free.

We offer 3 interest-free installments on all cards.
Returns
If your rug isn’t what you expected, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery through My Account › My Orders by selecting “Request a return.” Once your request is approved, your return code will be sent via WhatsApp. You don’t need to take the rug to a shipping branch — simply call your nearest Yurtiçi Kargo branch to arrange pickup from your address. We cover the return shipping cost.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different size, color, or a completely different rug, you can request an exchange within 14 days by selecting “Request an exchange.” Your new rug will be sent once we receive the one you returned; shipping is on us. If there’s a price difference, we’ll send you a payment link. If your new choice costs less, the difference will be refunded to your card. Rugs made to custom dimensions cannot be returned or exchanged.
Warranty
All our rugs come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Immediate Action and Liquid Spills
When a liquid spills, timing is critical. Using a clean, slightly damp cloth, blot the liquid gently from the surface without rubbing. Always work in the direction of the rug’s pile (the natural direction in which the fibers lie). Rubbing can damage the shape of delicate fibers such as TENCEL™ and viscose. If in doubt, stop immediately.
Routine Care and Light Balance
For your weekly cleaning routine, always use a vacuum cleaner with low suction. High-powered upright vacuums and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance how natural yarns react to light and prevent uneven changes in color (fading), we recommend rotating your rug every 2 to 6 months.
Expert Care (Professional Cleaning)
Fine textures such as handwoven fibers, TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. These products can irreversibly damage the rug’s silky sheen and structural integrity. For a thorough clean, seek help only from professional rug care centers specializing in natural fibers.
Washing Instructions
Due to their construction, the exceptional pieces in Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing. (Only our specific models explicitly marked “Washable” in their names can be washed in household machines on a low-temperature, delicate cycle.)
