Ruggadocia Tabriz Burgundy Floral Patterned Rug
Ruggadocia Tabriz Burgundy Floral Rug – Burgundy/Mint (Floral)
The Ruggadocia Collection features pattern-focused flat-weave rugs made with yarn that is 60% cotton and 40% acrylic. With its slim 7 mm profile and weight of 2,800 g/m², it offers a lightweight yet densely woven surface that holds its shape. The natural fringed edge completes the traditional handwoven look. This model features a Tabriz composition with an unexpected palette: delicate floral branches scattered across a burgundy field, framed by a border of pink and orange palmettes on a mint-green ground.
Why a Cotton & Acrylic Blend?
Cotton gives the rug a natural feel, a breathable construction, and an elegant matte finish, while acrylic provides colorfastness, stain resistance, and durability. The balanced blend of the two fibers, combined with the flat-weave technique, creates a rug that stands up to everyday use, is easy to live with, and displays its pattern clearly.
Tabriz Tradition and an Unexpected Palette
Tabriz is a historic weaving center renowned for its rich patterns and has been considered the capital of Persian rug-making for centuries. This interpretation preserves the classic scattered floral layout, but breaks with tradition in its palette: the depth of burgundy is joined by the freshness of mint green and the cheerfulness of pink and orange. Bringing tradition and playfulness together, this rug is a statement piece for eclectic interiors that embrace bold color.

How to Clean
For daily care, a low-suction vacuum cleaner is sufficient; any stains can be gently dabbed with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. Do not soak the rug or machine-wash it; when deep cleaning is needed, opt for a professional rug-cleaning service. Take care not to catch the fringe in the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
A variance of +/- 5% in the dimensions, measured both lengthwise and diagonally, is considered normal due to the product’s construction, dyeing, and washing processes.

Protect Their Elegance
To preserve the original splendor and silky texture of Carpetdocia’s handwoven, natural-fiber creations that bring value to your living space for generations, adopt a gentle care routine.
Immediate Action and Liquid Spills
When spills occur, timing is critical. Use a clean, slightly damp cloth to lift the liquid from the surface by gently blotting only - never rub. Always work in the direction of the rug pile (the fibers’ natural lay). Rubbing can damage the shape of delicate fibers such as TENCEL™ and viscose. If in doubt, stop immediately.
Routine Care and Light Balance
For your weekly cleaning routine, always use vacuum cleaners with low suction power. High-powered upright vacuums and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance natural fibers’ reaction to light and prevent localized tonal differences (fading), we recommend changing your rug’s direction every 2 to 6 months.
The Expert Touch (Professional Cleaning)
Noble fibers such as handwoven TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. These products can irreversibly damage the rug’s silky sheen and structural integrity. For a thorough clean, seek help only from professional rug care centers specializing in natural fibers.
Washing Instructions
The exquisite pieces in the Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing due to their construction. (Only specific models explicitly labeled “Washable” in their name can be washed in home washing machines using a low-temperature, delicate cycle.)
